Inspection Disclaimer

1. Advisory Nature of Inspections

All ViewNam inspection reports are professional advisory assessments based on a visual and/or mechanical examination conducted at a single point in time. They are not warranties, guarantees, or certifications of vehicle condition.

2. Scope of Inspection

Our inspections cover only the items listed in the inspection checklist for the service booked. The inspection is conducted without disassembly of any vehicle components. We do not:

• Dismantle or remove engine components, panels, or interior trim.
• Use a vehicle hoist or pit (unless specifically arranged).
• Conduct compression tests, leak-down tests, or fluid analysis.
• Verify the accuracy of the vehicle's odometer reading beyond visual consistency checks.
• Verify ownership, finance status, or stolen status of the vehicle.
• Guarantee the accuracy of information provided by the vehicle seller.

3. Limitations

Certain defects and conditions may not be detectable during a standard inspection, including but not limited to:

• Intermittent electrical or electronic faults.
• Internal engine, gearbox, or differential wear.
• Hidden structural or chassis damage (e.g., from previous accidents).
• Defects concealed by aftermarket modifications, undercoating, or cosmetic repairs.
• Issues that only manifest under specific conditions (e.g., cold weather, prolonged driving, heavy loads).
• Future failures of components that appear functional at the time of inspection.

4. Purchase Decision

The decision to purchase or not purchase a vehicle remains solely with the client. Our inspection report provides information to assist in that decision, but does not constitute a recommendation to buy unless explicitly stated by the inspector.

5. Limitation of Liability

ViewNam and its inspectors accept no liability for:

• Any defect, fault, or condition not identified during the inspection.
• Any financial loss, consequential damage, or expense arising from the purchase of a vehicle.
• Any inaccuracy in the vehicle's history, documentation, or seller-provided information.

Our maximum liability in any claim is limited to the amount paid for the inspection service.

6. Report Confidentiality

Inspection reports are prepared exclusively for the named client and should not be relied upon by any third party. ViewNam is not liable for losses incurred by any person other than the named client who relies on our report.

7. Independent Inspectors

ViewNam inspectors are independent contractors, not employees of ViewNam. While they are vetted, trained, and required to follow our standardised procedures, ViewNam does not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of any individual inspection.

8. Complaints & Disputes

If you believe an inspection was not conducted properly, contact us within 7 days of receiving the report at info@viewnam.com. We will investigate and, if warranted, arrange a re-inspection at no additional cost.

9. Acceptance

By proceeding with a booking and payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted this disclaimer in full.
