This policy is issued by Digital Wave Technologies cc (Registration No. CC/2020/01584), trading as ViewNam (Windhoek, Namibia), which is responsible for the personal information collected through viewnam.com and our WhatsApp channel.

Seller information: Seller name and contact number you provide.

To process and fulfil your inspection booking.
To assign an appropriate inspector in your area.
To communicate with you about your booking via WhatsApp, phone, or email.
To prepare and deliver your inspection report.

We share your information only with:

Our inspectors: Only the details necessary to perform the inspection (vehicle location, seller contact, vehicle details).
Payment providers: To process your payment.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely. We use reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorised access, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

Our booking, report and inspector records are stored with Supabase on servers located in the European Union, protected by access controls so that customers can only look up their own booking by its reference. Booking and contact records are kept for as long as we need them to deliver the service and meet our accounting and legal obligations, after which they are deleted or anonymised.

When you book, a copy of the booking details is also kept in your own browser's local storage on the device you used, so you can find your reference again. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

When you give us a seller's name, number or location, you confirm that you are entitled to share it with us for the purpose of arranging the inspection. Our inspectors photograph the vehicle and its documents only, and the report is shared only with you, the client.

If you leave a review, we may publish your rating and comment on viewnam.com together with your first name and town. Reviews are checked by ViewNam before they appear, and you can ask us to remove yours at any time.

5. Inspection Reports

Inspection reports (including photos) are prepared for the named client and stored by ViewNam. Reports may be retained for up to 12 months for quality assurance and dispute resolution purposes.

Our website may use cookies to improve your browsing experience and analyse site traffic. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate information.
